Another PJR record falls

Peter Currington smashed his own PJR 1500m record by 10 seconds to set a new best of 4.27.6 in the London middle distance open at Lea Valley indoor athletics centre on the evening of Wednesday 19th Feb 2014.

Pete went out conservatively from the gun sticking at the back of the lead group in the second fastest 1500m race of the evening running even 400m splits of 72 seconds before taking the lead just after the half way point. He kept the lead until the final stages eventually finishing in a very creditable 2nd place in a field of 12 evenly match runners.
